The aim of the Association is to work for the education of adults, including in particular:

1. Shaping attitudes open to knowledge and innovation.
2. Dissemination of modern information technologies.
3. Facilitating the flow of information about the latest developments in science and technology applicable to adult continuing education.
4. Consolidating the awareness of cultural heritage and drawing on it for contemporary solutions.
5. Supporting local initiatives consistent with the goals of the Association.
6. Creating conditions conducive to breaking geographic, administrative and generational boundaries.
7. Facilitating the establishment of partner contacts.  
8. Popularization of environmental issues and environmental protection.
9. Popularizing the principles of broadly understood social security among adults.
